LVS Plastics Limited, a plastic moulding company based in the West Midlands, has been acquired out of administration by Clarity Plastics Limited in a deal that safeguards 30 jobs and ensures continuity for customers.
Founded in 1974, Telford-based LVS Plastics manufactures plastic injection moulding products used by customers from industries such as the automotive sector. However, over recent months, the company had encountered significant cash flow challenges.
After considering the company’s financial position, the LVS Plastics board decided to place the firm into administration, with Patrick Lannagan and Adam Harris of Forvis Mazars appointed as joint administrators on August 21 2025.
Immediately following their appointment, the joint administrators secured a sale of the business and assets to Clarity Plastics Limited, with Clarity Plastics Managing Director Kevin Robinson describing the acquisition as one that strengthens the firm’s plastics division.
Clarity’s Group Director of People and Culture Ian Byrne commented: "Our first priority has been to safeguard jobs and reassure employees that their terms, conditions, and continuity of service are fully protected. We are excited to work closely with the team in Telford, listening to their feedback and involving them in shaping the next chapter of Clarity Plastics. This is a people-first acquisition, and we are determined to build a culture where employees feel valued, engaged, and part of our long-term journey.”
Byrne said that Clarity would invest in refurbishing staff areas and offices, strengthen training and development, enhance employee benefits and engagement initiatives and introduce new branded uniforms, adding: “People are at the centre of this transition, and we want them to see and feel the positive changes we are making."
Patrick Lannagan, joint administrator and partner - corporate restructuring at Forvis Mazars, said: “The company encountered cash flow challenges in recent months and after careful consideration of the financial position, the board of the company reached the difficult decision to place the company into administration.”
"We are pleased to announce that, immediately following the Administrators' appointment, a sale of the company's business and assets was completed to Clarity Plastics Limited, securing continuity of employment for the company's 30 employees and its customers.”
