Online recruitment agency, Recruitment Genius, has purchased multi-sector online agency, iEmploy.net, as part of its plan to grow through a series of strategic acquisitions.
The value of the deal has not been revealed, but Recruitment Genius has experienced double-digit growth in recent months and has been keen to embark on a programme of purchases, to enhance its already impressive organic growth.
iEmploy.net will now benefit from being integrated into the enhanced service offered by Recruitment Genius and favourable cost model. Bosses at Recruitment genius will be working with the existing customer base and partners of iEmploy to ensure as smooth a transition as possible.
Recruitment Genius has based its success upon its unique, fixed-price recruitment fee system for companies seeking to fill vacancies.
The Kent-based company's chief executive, Geoff Newman, said that their model of business had seen them "shake up the recruitment industry", but that they needed to work to maintain their competitive position and avoid complacency.
"The acquisition of iEmploy.net enables us to expand our customer base and gain greater profits for our shareholders," he explained. "We recognise the value, and opportunity, which exists with online recruitment and are determined to stay ahead of the game."
