Premier Inn has snapped up a building in Leeds, transforming it into a hotel as part of its bid to expand its room count substantially.
The Hepworth Point building has been successfully redeveloped and now boasts 131 bedrooms. This will help the hotel boost its current UK count of 47,000 rooms. It is aiming to offer 65,000 by 2016.
In addition to Premier Inn's expansion plans, the developing firm, Bruntwood, also has plans to undertake similar projects in the near future. Craig Burrow, director of the Leeds offices of Bruntwood, commented: “Bruntwood are delighted to have completed the conversion of Hepworth Point in Leeds and to welcome Premier Inn as a customer.
“We're now looking for further opportunities within Leeds to expand our core offering, as our customers continue to respond positively to the Bruntwood way of doing business here."
The building is well located on the north side of Leeds city centre and will allow those staying in the Premier Inn easy access to entertainment and leisure facilities. It has opened as a hotel around a year before the opening of the new Leeds Arena, which is expected to attract a strong level of interest in the city.
This highly profitable solicitors' practice in North East Hampshire presents a unique opportunity for those seeking to enter or expand in the legal sector, with the owner offering consultancy post-sale.
This is an opportunity to acquire a group of five companies that have successfully expanded through organic growth and strategic acquisitions, providing a strong presence in the UK tile market with five showrooms and an online store.
