Interest in commercial property appears to be on the rise in local pockets of the country, with some agents receiving instructions to increase the amount of industrial property on their books.
In the Mansfield area, the majority of activity has taken place around junction 28 of the M1 and along the A38 corridor. One of the latest arrivals to the market is 30,000 sq ft of modern prime industrial space due to a rise in buyer interest.
Located at Gateway 28, off Penny Emma Way, the unit comprises high-bay warehouse and storage accommodation and is understood to offer a rare opportunity to purchase such a conveniently-located asset.

"Over the past six months we have seen an increased demand for large industrial units, principally due to the lack of speculative development within the market. Since early 2008 there has been little speculative development, which means the availability of new and good quality second-hand stock is now limited.”
He added that there is a particularly strong demand for commercial property from the storage and distribution industries.
