An IT company based in Macclesfield is looking to drive its next period of growth following a successful management buy-in (MBI) deal, according to a report by Bdaily.
Delta Comtech is now targeting an annual turnover in excess of £1.25 million following the completion of the MBI, which saw sales director Carl Enser and operations director Ed Wright become equal partners alongside the company's existing owners Geoff Barratt and Mike Orton.
The IT services provider recently achieved year-on-year growth of around 20 per cent, and surpassed the £1 million milestone in sales in 2015.
New joint-owner Carl Enser said of the MBI: “This deal will build on the success of Delta Comtech to date. We all really believe in the business and its potential within the market.”
The management buy-in process at Delta Comtech was guided by Manchester-based law company HRC Law, which provided legal advice to the team.
Mr Enser added: “HRC was able to provide clear and practical legal advice for us throughout the deal process with a firm focus on what was right for the business and us as owners. They were the perfect partner for us in this deal.”
Mark Traynor, a corporate partner at HRC Law, spoke highly of the new partnership at Delta Comtech: “The impressive team at Delta Comtech is ambitious with their sights set on growth into other regions. We look forward to watching their progress.”
