Two businesses in Hull are set to merge and combine their businesses and skill sets to grow into a stronger united company.
Chameleon Business Interiors, an office interiors specialist, is to merge with warehousing specialist iGSG Group. They will be known collectively as ISIS Commercial Environments.
The merger will begin trading under the banner ISIS Commercial Environments on 1 March and it will maintain offices in Hull, as well as Leeds and York. The firm will have a combined turnover of more than £5 million and a 17-strong workforce.
Shaun Watts, managing director of Chameleon Business Interiors, told the Hull Daily Mail: “We have got to know each other's business very well and recognise there is a lot of synergy in terms of business and opportunities.
“It made perfect sense to have one offering whatever the type of commercial property, there is an element of the business that can service it. This merger makes us a true one-stop shop for any commercial premises.”
Bringing the two companies together could also provide scope for increasing the number of staff and, while creating a turn-key package, also boosting opportunities to “grow quite quickly because the marketplace is being opened up significantly”.
