Months after IT services and software group Sanderson made two strategic acquisitions, it has reported a larger order book, higher profit figures and a positive start from the newly purchased operations.
Coventry-based Sanderson bought ecommerce solutions business Catan Marketing in August 2013, and has indicated that it has been a positive addition from the beginning, The Business Desk reported.
One iota, which provides cloud-based multi-channel retail solutions, was taken on by the group in October 2013 and has similarly made a good start as part of the group. It has paved the way for growth of group sales into mobile-enabled online sales, ecommerce and catalogues.
Sanderson specialises in multi-channel retail and manufacturing software to over 400 clients in the UK and Ireland. It has offices in Sheffield, Lancashire, Bristol, Belfast and Australia.
The group announced that it expects results to show sales have grown by more than 20 per cent to £7.9 million for the six months to 31 March, up from £6.37 million for the same period the year before.
Sanderson’s board said: “A strong order intake in the first half year has resulted in a large order book most of which is scheduled for delivery in the second half year, providing a good level of confidence that the group will continue to make further significant progress in the current year ending 30 September 2014.”
