A buyer is being sought for Whittlebury Hall, the hotel and conference venue in Towcester, Northamptonshire, which has entered administration.
Peter Holder, Kevin Coates, Nick Cropper and Anne O’Keefe from restructuring specialists Zolfo Cooper have been appointed to handle the administration. They have said that they are confident of finding a buyer for the business and will be trading it as normal until one is found.
Mr Holder said that everything was in Whittlebury Hall's favour for it to continue as a business under new management - not least of all its geographic location, right next to the iconic Silverstone racing circuit.
"This is a profitable and high quality hotel ideally situated next to the Silverstone Circuit," said Mr Holder. "We expect to receive a significant level of interest in the hotel, as it represents a great opportunity to acquire a good hotel in a unique location."
The business employs some 130 staff, and no redundancies have been made. Mr Holder added that they would be exploring all possibilities for the future of the venue and were keen to hear from any interested parties. The hotel would still be honouring its existing bookings, vouchers and memberships to its gym facilities.
In a prime location, this freehold business opportunity includes a detached, well-equipped bakery factory along with a retail outlet and cafe, all part of a family business with a century of trading history.
Established in key industries like power generation and rail, this company offers specialised electrical and engineering services across the UK and Ireland, boasting strong relationships with blue-chip clients and a reliable income stream.
This well-established company has a decade-long track record in a growing market and is fully relocatable or can be operated remotely, providing flexibility for the new owner.
