A window, door and conservatory supplier based in East Anglia has ceased trading ahead of going into administration, making all remaining staff redundant in the process, reports Insider.
Pyramid Windows (East Anglia) Ltd has been supplying uPVC windows, doors and conservatories from its premises on the Guardian Road Industrial Estate in Norwich since 1995. It specialised in providing its goods for trading suppliers across the UK, particularly to those requiring colour-bonded Sensual uPVC windows.
Julie Swan and Mark Phillips from the specialist insolvency company PCR were appointed as administrators of the distressed business on 17 February 2016, citing the reason behind the fall into administration as “a bad debt [that] impacted on the company’s collapse”.
The administrators from PCR are currently exploring all available options for the collapsed business, including the selling off of parts of the company and its assets in the hope of raising enough to provide a positive outcome for the firm’s creditors.
Before administrators being called in, all 22 staff were made redundant and trading ceased.
