A telephone fundraising agency has gone into voluntary administration, citing a “major drop in the volume of traditional telephone fundraising campaigns” as the reason for its move.
Committed 2 Communications Limited, the company behind and trading as NTT Fundraising, has entered voluntary administration, with SFP Restructuring Limited appointed as the administrators of the company.
The company, however, announced a restructure that would save the business via director appointment following professional support. The directors, Dave Clark and Natalie Bailey, securing investment and purchased the company assets and all 98 members of staff from the administrators to set up the new agency, NTT.
Clark said: “We have been able to partner with a funder who shares our belief in the power of this sector and so with their help we’ve been able to secure the future of NTT and the huge pool of talent that it holds.”
The new agency will widen its portfolio of services to include SMS, email, white mail, social media and strategic fundraising consulting. The aim will be to integrate a range of platforms to as to enhance supporter engagement and broaden its scope.
Similarly, Bailey added: “The future for charity telephone communications is looking bright, we recognise that telephone fundraising will always have its place within the world of charities.
“But campaigns are becoming increasingly more complex and we plan to continue to develop services for charities with more sophisticated and insightful use of the telephone, combined and integrated with other channels and touch points, to engage more deeply with supporters and positively build on their relationships.”
The company on average raises between £10 million and £15 million per annum from 25,000 regular donators. Some of its clients include WWF UK and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Although in voluntary administration, its trading activities and contracts will continue as normal in the new agency.
