The ability for businesses to grow through the purchase of other similar companies has been exemplified by on-site destruction company, Shred-it.
The company, which has 17 locations across the UK, has purchased a similar Welsh company, South Wales Shredding, branching out to now include two locations in the principality.
The value of the deal has not been disclosed, but European executive vice-president of Shred-it, Robert Guice, said the acquisition is anticipated to provide additional resources to expand the business further. It has also helped grow the company's Welsh customer based by more than 70 per cent in the last year.
