Business software provider The Access Group has agreed a deal to acquire Midlands-based talent acquisition platform Eploy. The acquisition is described as bringing “proven expertise and innovation” into the group’s Access People division.
Kidderminster-headquartered Eploy was founded in 1998 and specialises in helping brands to transform their recruitment processes, candidate management and hiring workflows.
The company works with a number of major organisations across a variety of diverse industries, having worked with well-known brands such as Marston’s, Dunelm and Gateley.
The firm has built a strong customer base that ranges from mid-market business to enterprise organisations, with an average customer size of 2,900 employees.
Post-acquisition, the company will join the group’s Access People division, which provides HR and payroll services to small, growing and medium-to-large businesses across an array of industries.
The acquisition will strengthen the Loughborough-based business’ offering through the addition of a full applicant tracking system, alongside existing tools for payroll, employee engagement, workforce management, learning management and talent acquisition.
Chris Bogh, Eploy founder and Chief Executive, said: "Joining The Access Group represents an exciting new chapter for Eploy. We have been impressed by their customer-centric approach and dedication to product excellence.”
Bogh added that joining the Access Group can help to accelerate the firm’s vision, enhance customer experience and "contribute to a larger mission of empowering businesses through technology."
Access People Managing Director Charles Butterworth said: "Eploy represents an exceptional addition to our Access People ecosystem. The proven expertise and innovation demonstrated by the Eploy team, combined with their platform, create opportunities for delivering enhanced hire-to-retire solutions.
Butterworth added that the strategic deal reinforces the business’ commitment to “providing quality people management solutions and supports our international growth strategy.”
