Centrick has sold its high street sales and lettings division to Lomond Group as it seeks to focus on its operations in the residential property sector. The deal sees teams from Nottingham, Birmingham and Solihull transfer to the Lomond Group, where they will operate under the group’s John Shepherd brand.
Centrick was founded in 2005 as a building and estate management services firm, before expanding into high street sales and lettings in 2007. Following the sale, the company will focus on providing property management and other associated professional services for the UK’s residential property sector.
The company’s founder, James Ackrill, said: "Our ambition as a group has always been to deliver a truly exceptional service, building a team of highly skilled property professionals that care about our clients and the residents we support."
"We recognise the need for focus and depth in our specialisms in order to deliver on our long-term plans and commitment to clients today, as well as into the future. This move puts the group in a really strong position to focus consistently on those specialisms and continue to enhance our already high service levels, aligning our teams around the needs of our clients."
Ackrill said that the company’s high street division “has always been extremely successful” and held “numerous awards and top positions in a number of areas”. Ackrill continued that the transfer of its high street teams to John Shepherd would ensure clients continue to be served by professionals that they “already know and trust without any loss of service.”
He added: "Looking forward to our third decade as the leading independent property services operator, we are committed to building on our team of talented, knowledgeable property experts and driving national industry standards forwards."
