Reconomy Group, a global circular economy firm, has acquired UK Waste Solutions Limited in a deal that consolidates its position as the country’s largest tech-enabled, outsourced resource management provider.
The acquisition includes all four of Newark-headquartered UK Waste Solutions’ brands: AMA, Click Waste UK, Evolution and its flagship Novati brand. The business provides sustainability consultancy, with its managers specialising in helping clients in sectors including distribution, manufacturing, hospitality and facilities management.
Novati works with a range of prominent UK brands, including CBRE, Network Rail, Prezzo, Marston’s, Road Chef and Birmingham Airport. UK Waste Solutions’ wide-ranging experience across an array of industries will be complementary to Reconomy’s existing recycling operation, providing wider capabilities and more services to offer to new and existing clients.
Reconomy Group CEO Guy Wakeley said UK Waste Solutions was “a great fit with our business due to our shared commitment to developing closed loop solutions that will accelerate the shift towards a more circular economy.”
Wakeley added: “The transaction is consistent with our ambitious plans to grow both organically and through further acquisitions in the UK and around the world.”
