Large format printer Gardners has been bought out of administration by ex-Bezier director Richard Courtney.
Based in Cardiff, the business operates HP wide-format equipment to deliver banners and signs to its clients, who are blue chip corporates based throughout the UK.
It appointed Cameron Gunn, Mark Supperstone and Simon Harris of Resolve Group UK as joint administrators on 11 July to deal with its financial problems. The administrators confirmed that they intended to trade the business in the short term while selling off the business and its assets.
Gardners has a turnover in the region of £11 million and will now be led by Mr Courtney, who rejoined the firm as commercial director in March 2010. The firm employs 102 staff and no redundancies have been made so far.
The firm has been established for more than 35 years and operates from a 3.5 acre manufacturing site in the Welsh capital. It has strong working relationships with technology providers, including HP and Agfa, which allows it to deliver up to date services to its clients.
Among the firm's clients are JCDecaux, Tesco and some of the graphics for the 2004 Olympic Games.
This company offers a comprehensive range of CHP solutions, excelling in end-to-end services from initial feasibility studies to ongoing operations and maintenance, through a highly skilled team proficient in all major control systems.
