A Kent-based personalised logistics provider, backed by Livingbridge private equity firm, has successfully acquired a counterpart, allowing the company to expand its operations both in terms of capacity and geography.
Carousel Logistics has snapped up BDA Logistics Innovation, which trades in Birmingham, Dublin, Frankfurt and Maastricht. It delivers specialist services through its Gateway technology platform to high-performance clients in industries across the country and Europe.
As a result of the acquisition, Carousel is set to grow by more than 50 per cent by extending its portfolio of services and transport lanes.

Corporate finance advisers GCA Altium advised Carousel’s shareholders on the acquisition process.
