Vanuse, a London-based van delivery service operating across the UK and Ireland, has been acquired by dlivrd Technologies Inc. Established in 2025, dlivrd is a last-mile logistics specialist operating in the US and UK, providing services including on-demand delivery, catering delivery and dedicated van fleet operations.
Founded in 2016, Vanuse specialises in on-demand bookings, established B2B routes in industries such as catering and retail, and dedicated fleet operations. The company operates a transportation-as-a-service model, enabling customers to book a van and driver via mobile app or online, with a vehicle often available within one hour.
In addition to its core on-demand service, Vanuse also operates regular routes for business including bakeries and catering firms, reportedly building a strong reputation for its reliable and high-volume service levels.
The acquisition expands dlivrd’s last-mile logistics capabilities and will enable the company to integrate Vanuse’s platform into its logistics technology subsidiary Expedite, providing customers with a unified solution for scheduled B2B routes, on-demand van hire and enhanced delivery transparency.
In addition, the integration of the platform with Expedite will enable dlivrd to optimise driver assignments, provide customers with data-driven performance insights and improve delivery speed.
The deal will also provide dlivrd with additional larger vehicle transport for services including catering delivery, high-value shipments and e-commerce fulfillment. The company plans to introduce Vanuse’s dedicated van fleet model to several European markets in 2025, followed by the US in early 2026.
Calling the deal a “strategic leap forward”, dlivrd Technologies CEO Chris Heffernan commented: “Vanuse adds proven last mile logistics expertise and a trusted dedicated van fleet to our portfolio. With an Expedite integration, we can offer greater flexibility, serve more industries, and manage everything from small packages to bulk catering orders, with more exciting developments for catering delivery on the horizon.”
Gavin Sandells, CEO of Vanuse, added: “Vanuse has always focused on delivering immediate, reliable service to customers across our markets. Joining the dlivrd Technologies family means our service can scale faster, reach new regions, and benefit from a strong operational foundation.”
