A Northamptonshire-based printing firm has been sold following the retirement of its owners, according to Watersheds Corporate Finance advisers, who assisted with the sale.
The Direct Printing Company provides a range of print services including the production of books, manuals, reports and presentation binders. It also offers commercial printing services from its base in Brixworth.
Following the decision of its owners, Trudy Ashton and Phillip and Sally Bradbury - who founded the business in 1995 – to retire, the firm was sold to Lonsdale Print Solutions, a local firm boasting more than a century of experience in the print sector.
Phillip Bradbury said, "We are proud of our people and the work we do. It was important to us to find a good home for the business. Watersheds understood that perfectly."
Richard Buzzoni of Watersheds said, "Selling a business is a life changing event. We spend a lot of time helping people with their retirement plans."
Buzzoni added that he was pleased that the deal was carried out quickly, in order to allow the previous owners to enjoy their retirement after 'many years of hard work.'
