A historic mansion house hotel located in Alyth, Blairgowrie, Perthshire, is being marketed for sale for £1.2 million through Colliers International.
The Lands of Loyal hotel - which dates back to the 19th century - boasts stunning views across the Vale of Strathmore to the Sidlaw Hills. It has 17 bedrooms - including two suites located in an adjacent annexe - restaurants, a bar and a number of other public rooms.
The hotel is also set in 4.5 acres of landscaped grounds, and comes complete with a private owner's suite.
Built by the Ogilvie family, the commercial building has been used as a hotel since 1945. Alongside the main hotel building, the sale includes a building plot which comes with planning permission for a single residential dwelling to be constructed on it.
A director with selling agents Colliers International, Alistair Letham, told Caterer Search, “The Lands of Loyal Hotel is in a superb location in the ever-popular Perthshire countryside and the hotel, whilst already having an excellent established base of custom, offers huge potential for additional growth and development of trade for new resident owners.”
