Arcus Facilities Management has strengthened its mobile facilities management (FM) offering with the acquisition of the Trios Group. The acquisition enables Arcus, which is backed by private equity firm Rcapital, to bolster its project delivery, mobile engineering and technology in the UK FM market.
Trios provides dedicated mobile engineering services through a dedicated managed services function and its own in-house technology platform. The company is described as having a strong alignment with Arcus’ “technology led, people driven” ethos.
Trios’ customer portfolio includes a number of high profile organisations, including Royal Mail, Rowlands Pharmacy, Linnaeus Vets, Vue Cinema, Harrods and a range of other prominent public and private sector organisations.
Arcus said that the deal takes it “a step closer to realising its ambition to be the largest provider of mobile facilities management services in the UK.” The firm added that Trios’ customer base will enhance its presence in the retail and hospitality sectors, while providing new opportunities in the “blue light” and local government markets.
Arcus FM CEO Chris Green said that the acquisition builds further on the firm’s growth over recent years and sees “another key part of our strategy accomplished”.
Green added: “The mobile capability of Trios, its use of technology, and the way it serves its customers made it attractive as we look to add scale and bolster our service offering – and we’re looking forward to working with the team there to see how we can collaborate and integrate to drive outstanding facilities management across the country.”
Arcus FM Chief Commercial Officer Theresa Bell, who will take on the role of Trios CEO following the acquisition, said that Trios was “a business with exceptional capabilities at its core.”
