Property consultancy Kirkby Diamond has continued its expansion with the acquisition of North London firm Bowyer Bryce Chartered Surveyors. The acquisition sees Kirkby Diamond expand further up the A1 (A1M) corridor near London, giving the firm a foothold in North East London and Essex and solidifying its presence in the Hertfordshire commercial property market.
The deal continues a year of significant growth for Kirkby Diamond, which launched a new office in St Albans in June of this year with a highly experienced new Hertfordshire team, adding to its presence in Milton Keynes, Bedford, Luton and Borehamwood.
Bowyer Bryce Chartered Surveyors is a commercial property consultancy based in Enfield, North London. Following the acquisition, the firm’s directors Ian Harding, Nigel Leedham and Steven Murray will join Kirkby Diamond, along with several surveyors and other support staff.
Kirkby Diamond managing partner Luke Tillison said that these were “exciting times” for the company and called Bowyer Bryce “a very well established and highly regarded practice of chartered surveyors and property consultants.”
Tillison continued: "The acquisition enables us to continue our growth throughout Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire, with a special focus on the M1/A1M and A10 corridors. We are thrilled to welcome the Bowyer Bryce team which has enormous experience and which will help us to deliver our outstanding levels of service for new and existing clients across the region."
Bowyer Bryce director Nigel Leedham added: "Kirkby Diamond is a practice Bowyer Bryce has worked with for many years and the time is now right to formalise and fuse that close working relationship. All staff, including Steven, Ian and I, will continue to be closely involved, with the augmentation of new agency, management and professional surveyors to supplement the team at Enfield."
