Property services group Lomond has completed its latest acquisition with a deal for central London-based lettings agency Draker. The acquisition of Draker is the latest in a series of strategic acquisitions that Lomond has made in the London market.
Draker was founded 15 years ago by industry expert Tim Hassell and has established itself as a well-known central London agency with a reputation for a client-first approach. The company operates from three offices, managing a portfolio of more than 700 rental properties.
The company specialises in serving some of the most prestigious neighbourhoods in London, including Hammersmith, Fulham and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
Draker becomes the fourth strategic acquisition that Lomond has completed in London recently, following its integration of Battersea waterside specialist boutique agency Hamnett & Ganpot, landlord service firm Vantage and the major acquisition of 60-branch market-leading estate agency Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward (HKF).
Under the ownership of Lomond, Draker will continue to deliver its services to clients, supported by sister brands Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward and Chase Evans. For Lomond, the acquisition aligns with its strategic aim of building a national network with a depth of local expertise.
Following the acquisition, Lomond’s Chief Revenue Officer John Ennis said that Draker was “a brand synonymous with quality and professionalism in the London lettings market.”
He continued: “We’re excited to support its continued growth with the broader capabilities and reach of the Lomond network, as we further cement our presence in central London.”
Tim Hassell, Founder and Managing Director of Draker, commented: “Building Draker over the past 15 years has been a deeply rewarding journey. Our growth has been driven by a laser focus on specialisation, discipline and above all, client satisfaction. As I look ahead to a new chapter in Sweden, I am confident that our clients and team are in exceptional hands with Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward- an organisation that shares our values and commitment to excellence.”
There are a range of trends driving M&A in the UK estate agency sector.
This long-established commercial refrigeration business, based in the South East, boasts a well-respected brand and an extensive client list across the hospitality, medical, and marine industries.
This Midlands-based MSP has a proven track record delivering tailored IT solutions to a diverse client base across sectors such as automotive, healthcare, and construction.
An opportunity has arisen to acquire a leading luxury florist company supplying high profile, prestigious clients. Its client list includes luxury brands, film companies, event planners, catering firms as well as corporate and private clients.
