Bedfordshire-based pub operator Charles Wells has put six pubs up for sale.
The brewer and pub chain operator has announced the sale of the six freeholds as part of the "continual churn" of the large portfolio of 250 let and managed pubs it owns.
Each of the six pubs are for sale with vacant possession and are located throughout the UK. They include the White Hart in Stoke Goldington, Buckinghamshire, the Wheatsheaf in Flitwick, Bedfordshire, the Boot in Langford, Bedfordshire, the Hare & Hounds in Great Addington, Northamptonshire, the Dog & Partridge in Brentwood, Essex and the Folly in Towcester, Northamptonshire.
Some offer ideal redevelopment potential, according to the pub chain, and price tags range from 'offers' to more than £300,000.
The last major sell-off carried out by Charles Wells was in 2009, when 24 pubs across the UK were sold, with prices ranging from £100,000 to £600,000.
The company has also been carrying out a series of planned acquisitions since that date, buying 31 in 2009. The most recent acquisition was the January 2011 purchase of the 17th century Knife and Cleaver public house in Houghton Conquest, Bedfordshire.
At the time, Richard Burt, commercial and property director of Charles Wells Pub Company said that the pub was a "fantastic addition to our estate."
Fully insured specialist in asbestos removal, surveys, and consultancy operating nationally. Turnover in excess of £1m.
The business offers a comprehensive selection of security products, ranging from roller shutters to insulated overhead doors and steel security door sets.
Adhering to the MUTA practice standards, the business supplies a wide range of marquees to commercial, corporate and private events. A full service is provided, from initial planning through to delivery, construction and dismantling.
