The Scottish island of Eilean Balnagowan has been put onto the market with an asking price of £395,000.
The stunning island, which is located close to Cuil Bay on the east side of Loch Linnhe on Scotland’s west coast, is being marketed for sale through property agents CK Galbraith.
The island – which measures 36 acres across - comes complete with planning permission to construct holiday accommodation.
The selling agents have described the island as offering an ‘abundance of fishing,’ beautiful sea loch views, green pastures, a mild climate and a medley of wildlife including otters and red deer. Eilean Balnagowan also comes with access across a sandy beach, CKD Galbraith confirmed.
Dominic Wedderburn of CKD Galbraith’s Stirling office, told Property Wire, “Eilean Balnagowan is truly stunning and offers a unique prospect to own your very own Scottish island with the added appeal of a recent planning application being granted to build a bothy offering holiday home accommodation.
