Stowe Family Law has strengthened its presence in greater London and the South of England with the acquisition of a family law firm. The acquisition of Hawkins Family Law is Stowe’s fourth acquisition, following its 2023 takeovers of Crisp&Co Solicitors and Watson Thomas Solicitors.
Based in Buckinghamshire, Hawkins Family Law has further offices in London, Oxford, Watford, Milton Keynes and Bicester, with the acquisition significantly strengthening Stowe’s presence across these areas.
Stowe was acquired by private equity firm Livingbridge in 2017 and, since then, acquisitions have formed a core part of a growth strategy that has seen it expand to a network of around 90 offices across England and Wales.
Starting with fewer than 20 offices at the time of Livingbridge’s takeover in 2017, the company has grown to have the UK’s largest portfolio of family law work and a team boasting in excess of 160 specialist family lawyers.
Following this latest acquisition, Stowe Family Law Chairman Ken Fowlie (pictured above) commented: "Hawkins Family Law is an outstanding addition to the Stowe offering in the South of England.
