Administrators for the Fortmere Group of hotels have said that there has been keen interest in the three Midlands-based premises.
Representatives from Grant Thornton UK LLP, who were charged with handling the administration process in June, have said that they have entertained a number of expressions of interest from companies looking to take on the three Ramada hotels in Oldbury, Wolverhampton and Kenilworth. The three were run under license from Ramada by Fortmere.
One of the joint administrators, David Bennett, said that it remained "business as usual" at the Ramada Birmingham Hotel and Conference Centre in Oldbury, the Ramada Park Hall Hotel and Spa in Wolverhampton and the Ramada Warwick Hotel and Conference Centre at Kenilworth. He said that the summer had been very busy at the three establishments and advanced bookings for conferences and events were strong.
"We have just begun the busy autumn season and all three hotels are taking bookings for the forthcoming Christmas period," Bennett explained. "We would like to thank the staff for their continued hard work and dedication to looking after their guests."
He added that the hotels would continue trading as normal while all options and offers were considered.
In a prime location, this freehold business opportunity includes a detached, well-equipped bakery factory along with a retail outlet and cafe, all part of a family business with a century of trading history.
