A prime piece of commercial property in the Ladbroke Grove area of London has been put up for sale.
Derwent London opted to sell Portobello Dock office park with a price tag of £30 million in order to take advantage of the upswing in the capital's property market.
The office park, which is home to tenants including the Innocent smoothie company, is being sold through agents Hanover Green and Knight Frank, according to reports from the Evening Standard.
The sellers are expecting to see the office space receive a lot of attention due to the high demand for such property in central London. Supply issues mean that buildings like this do not come onto the market very often and whoever becomes the new owner is likely to do well from the situation.
Portobello Dock is a mixed office and residential development, which includes luxury compartments and studio spaces, as well as 11,237 square feet of office space. Much of the space overlooks the Grand Union Canal and the development is well placed for transport links.
The development was launched as a commercial space in April 2008. Upon its launch, Simon Silver, development director of Derwent London, said: “Sitting at the gateway to Notting Hill and within easy reach of Paddington and the West End we believe the property’s strong identity will underpin its success.”
