The Trevone Hotel in Llandudno has gone up for sale with a guide price of £995,000. The hotel is located prominently on Llandudno’s seafront promenade. Llandudno, North Wales’ largest seafront resort, is set to see an uptick in tourism this year as it continues to bounce back from the pandemic.
The Trevone Hotel, housed in a 5-storey Victorian terraced building, features 24 en-suite rooms with lift access to all floors. The ground floor features a breakfast room, lounge, lounge bar, kitchen and reception desk.
The hotel also has two-bedroom owners accommodation located on the lower ground floor, as well as front and rear gardens with separate owners entrance. According to property agent Christie & Co, which is handling the sale, the hotel is perfect for a “lifestyle buyer”.
The business generated annual revenue of around £140,000 pre-COVID, before seeing its recent accounts impacted by the pandemic. However, Christie & Co says that there is potential to ramp up the hotel’s activity by increasing its food and bar operation and pursuing “a more vigorous marketing policy” to promote the hotel.
Christie & Co said: "The Trevone Hotel is a 24 bed seafront hotel in the popular North Wales seaside resort of Llandudno. This long established hotel come with a two bed owners accommodation, ideal for a lifestyle buyer, with considerable scope for continued growth from an enthusiastic purchaser.
The property agent added: “The hotel is located on the seafront promenade of Llandudno, the largest seafront resort in North Wales. The resort is famous for its long promenade and traditional pier, also benefitting from a wide range of shopping facilities, amenities and family attractions including the longest cable car ride in Britain."
“The majority of fixtures and fittings are included in the sale, however there will be a list of items to be excluded from the sale. An inventory will be provided to prospective purchasers.”
