The Wild Pheasant Hotel and Spa in Llangollen, Wales is on the market with a £2.25 million price tag.
The hotel has 46 letting bedrooms, with three of these being luxury penthouse suites, as well as a spa, restaurant and bar, and an outside courtyard area for guests. With its four function rooms, with capacity for 200 people, the venue is popular for weddings and conferences. The hotel even has its own dedicated wedding planner and is licensed for civil weddings and civil partnerships.
Christie & Co is handling the sale for the hotel, which is a 19th century property, sitting within 3.5 acres of land.
Ryan Lynn, at Christie & Co in Manchester, commented on the sale: “The Wild Pheasant represents a fantastic opportunity located in an idyllic setting in North Wales.
“Christie & Co has handled a range of hotel sales in the area and has always seen strong levels of interest for them. We anticipate the same level of interest for this hotel, which boasts a spa, great rooms and suites and is perfectly set for corporate and leisure visitors to the area,” the Daily Post reported.
The Wild Pheasant was owned by Global Investments Company before it entered administration on 8 July 2011 after its debts became unmanageable. It was purchased by London-based investor Asif Siddiqul the following year, who intended to bring in a management team to run the hotel for him.
