Swedish digital therapy company Mindler has acquired the UK telecare services division of Cambridge-based Ieso Digital Health.
Mindler, which is headquartered in Stockholm, offers digital therapy services across the UK and Nordic countries has acquired Ieso's UK operations for an undisclosed sum, however reports suggest the deal may be valued at around £20 million.

With Mindler’s support, we’re excited to expand our services and continue delivering care to the tens of thousands of patients who rely on us every year.”
The new combined service will give patients more choice in how they receive care, while also providing stronger clinical expertise and better use of data.
Mindler and ieso Digital Health UK will be able to support a wider range of mental health needs with a scalable, evidence-based solution that complements traditional face-to-face models. With both live and asynchronous therapy under one roof, healthcare services can better manage capacity, reduce waiting times, and personalise care to individual needs.
The combined platform will offer a comprehensive digital mental health service, integrating Mindler's video-based therapy with Ieso's AI-powered cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) tools. This integration aims to address the growing demand for mental health services, which has surged by nearly 40 per cent since the pandemic. The NHS faces challenges such as long waiting times and staffing shortages, with 11.3 per cent of full-time mental health roles currently vacant.
The new joint platform will help health services reduce waiting times, improve capacity, and deliver more personalised treatment to patients in need.
