Software service provider to legal businesses, Linetime Limited has been purchased in a management buyout deal.
Former chairman John Burrill has sold his 50 per cent holding in the Leeds-based business to a new company owned by managing director Tony Klejnow and development director Phil Snee.
Founded in 1983, the £2.4 million revenue business has built up case, practice and matter management software, along with debt recovery software geared towards meeting all the needs of legal practices, to help avoid the inconvenience of having to use multiple systems.
Clients range from high street practices to law firms in the UK’s top 200. Linetime also offers its services to the in-house legal departments of accountants, multinationals and PLCs.
Referring to the last 31 years of Linetime’s successful operations, Mr Klejnow said: “We are delighted to have completed the buy out of John’s stake and we are looking forward to maintaining that success by continuing to develop software that will keep our clients at the forefront of technology.”
Daniel McCormack of Lupton Fawcett Denison Till, who advised the management team, added: “It is a forward thinking company, with a national reputation, which is well placed to go from strength to strength under the leadership of its dynamic management team.”
