Kitchen retailer 24-Seven Kitchen & Granite Solutions Ltd has buckled under the pressure of its creditors’ increasing demands and entered administration.
Joint administrators Chris White and Gareth Rusling of The P&A Partnership were brought in on 7 April, leading the director and two staff to be rendered redundant and the business closed down.
The South Yorkshire business was founded in 2003 and had a showroom on Doncaster Road in Kirk Sandall, Doncaster. It offered bespoke kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms, as well as granite worktops and surfaces, making its products from its factory shop.
The administrators confirmed that all paid up customer orders have been fulfilled leaving none out of pocket by the closure.
Trading as 24-Seven BBC, the business’s customers extended to Rotherham, Leeds, Harrogate, Thorne, Sheffield, Barnsley and Lincoln, among other areas in Yorkshire.
“24-Seven Kitchen & Granite Solutions has enjoyed more than a decade of success but has recently experienced cash flow problems and has been forced to cease trading,” joint administrator Mr White said.
“The owners made the difficult decision to put the business into administration because they were facing increasing pressure from creditors.
“It’s a sad end to a popular Doncaster business, but we are pleased to say that, as far as we are aware, no customers will lose out as a result.”
