Focus Group, a West Sussex-based business communications company, has continued its acquisitive growth with a deal for Voice Connect, a provider of telecoms and self-serve automated services to the NHS and healthcare operators.
The deal continues Focus Group’s rapid acquisitive growth, with the group having acquired 10 companies in 2024, and comes just a month after its previous acquisition of comms, IT and mobile services provider Matrix247.
Focus Group has worked with Voice Connect for the past 18 months, delivering automated patient service solution Virtual Care Navigator to primary care providers. Following the acquisition, Voice Connect's flagship Patient Partner solution will complement the group’s existing cloud telephony and contact centre offering.
Focus Group Chief Revenue Officer Rhys Bailey said that Voice Connect had an “outstanding team” and “proven expertise in the healthcare sector.”
He continued: "Together with our recent expansion within the health and care sector under our Think Healthcare division, we're creating a truly compelling proposition that aligns closely with the next stage of NHS digital transformation.
Voice Connect Managing Director Sarah Sanders commented: "The opportunities to grow Voice Connect – with a focus on expansion of our Patient Partner solution across more health and care related sectors while accelerating its adoption of the benefits presented by evolving AI-based technology – is an exciting one."
