Business communications provider Focus Group has continued its acquisitive growth with the takeover of a telecommunications firm based in Buckinghamshire. The acquisition of telecoms firm Entropie is Focus Group’s eighth of the year.
The acquisition will help bolster Focus’ presence in the central regions of the UK and the company believes that the deal places it in a strong position to scale up its services across the area as it seeks to tap into new markets.
Entropie, which is based in Milton Keynes, is a provider of voice and data solutions. The company is based in close proximity to the offices of Boxx Communications, a comms and connectivity specialist that Focus Group acquired in October 2023.
Focus Group said that the company brings “a set of complementary capabilities, a proficient team and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience to the table”, adding that the acquisition underpins its “ambition to provide best-in-class solutions and expertise across the UK, whilst ensuring its customers receive the attention they need at a local level.”
