A buyer is being sought for a stationery company in Llandrindod Wells, Powys, following its fall into administration.
IXL 2008 Limited stationery company, which specialises in making ring binders, box files, lever arch files and other office supplies and selling them all over the world, is to be sold as a going concern.
ReSolve Partners LLP has been called in to act as administrator and is currently seeking a buyer as the business continues to operate to fulfil existing orders with a skeleton workforce. So far, 66 staff members have been made redundant as a result of the administration.
ReSolve Partners LLP released a statement saying, "I confirm that Cameron Gunn and Mark Supperstone of ReSolve Partners LLP were appointed as joint administrators of IXL 2008 Limited on the evening of 1 February, 2011.
"The company continues to trade in administration with a skeleton workforce who have been retained to fulfil existing orders. It is the intention of the administrators to complete a sale of the business and/or assets as a going concern at the earliest opportunity," the statement explained.
