EA-RS Group completes fourth acquisition of the year

EA-RS Group has acquired Crane Communications, a fire and security audiovisual equipment supplier based in Northern Ireland. The acquisition is the group's fourth of the year, following deals for CCSS Fire & Security, AST London, and the trade and assets of Essex Fire Sprinklers this year.

Alan Wheal, CEO of EA-RS Group, which provides fire and security systems, commented, “EA-RS Group’s acquisition of Crane Communications will offer us access to the Northern Irish market, making way for further developments in RoI, and the opportunity to build on our existing operations in London."

EA-RS Group received funding from Rockpool Investments and RCL Partners earlier this year which will be used to help the group break into new geographic regions and give the company access to London’s commercial security market.

Crane is an expert in the design, supply, installation, and maintenance of fire safety equipment, meaning the acquisition also enables EA-RS Group can offer new services such as CCTV, lighting, entertainment, access control, alarms and AV, expanding its range of services for both commercial and domestic clients.
