Edinburgh-based management consultants Alba Partners has bought London-based data and AI specialists Core Consultants Group.
Founded in 2019, Core Consultants specialises in data and artificial intelligence technology. It offers a range of services from data engineering & cloud platforms to analytics and visualisation, AI Data Science and Machine Learning, Data Governance, Quality and Protection. Its clients include UK government agencies, insurance companies, professional services firms and telcos.
As part of the deal all of Core's team members will integrate into Alba Partners’ UK and Middle East operations.
The acquisition caps a period of significant growth for Alba whose services include business transformation, programme delivery and technology services. Its clients include luxury retailers and banks.
Alba has also announced an expansion of its senior leadership team. Experienced financial services consultant Graeme Devlin has been appointed associate director, head of wealth and asset management, and will be based in Edinburgh.
Meanwhile, existing Alba Partners staff Charles Churchill and Jeff Simmons have been appointed head of financial institutions and associate director, head of the advisory group, and risk management & compliance lead, respectively.
The new roles will strengthen Alba Partners’ already significant work in financial services and asset management.
