Situated on the border of Denbighshire and Conwy, Hawk & Buckle Inn, a 17th century pub and restaurant, has been put up for sale.
The former coaching inn is on the market for an asking price of £350,000.
Current owners, Gareth and Siwan White purchased the business five years ago and are now selling so they can focus on their family business. In their time, the building was extended to introduce eight ensuite bedrooms.
They said: “We have enjoyed running the Hawk for the last five years but have recently taken on full managerial responsibility for the family farm and feel that we cannot possibly do justice to both businesses.”
The historic two-storey building features traditional beamed ceilings and an inglenook fireplace. Boasting beautiful views of the Clwydian Range mountains, the property has a large open-plan lounge bar for 60 people and a beer garden that can cater for 30 people.
Property agent, Christie & Co, is handling the sale of the property.
Keith Stringer, director at Christie & Co, said: “The Hawk & Buckle Inn is an incredibly characterful public house that provides potential purchasers seeking a more laid-back pace of life with a turnkey lifestyle business. There is a significant opportunity to grow turnover through increasing the opening hours, which are currently limited.
"With this in mind, we expect significant interest from both local buyers as well as those wishing to relocate.”
The property also has private parking for eight vehicles.
Offers are being invited for this building of character.
