Blandy & Blandy, a leading law firm in the Thames Valley, has agreed a deal to acquire the business of Henley-on-Thames-based McQueen Turner Solicitors, which has been advising clients in the area for more than 40 years.
McQueen Turner Solicitors’ sole director Alexa McQueen-Turner, a solicitor with 20 years’ experience, has joined Blandy & Blandy’s growing residential property team as a partner, whilst Sidra Ahmed joins as a legal assistant in the company’s Wills, Probate, Tax & Trusts team.
Following the acquisition, McQueen-Turner and Ahmed will both relocate to Blandy & Blandy’s Henley-on-Thames office at 24 Thameside, along with company secretary Julie Alexander (Sidra Ahmed, Alexa McQueen-Turner and Julie Alexander are pictured above, l to r).

Blandy & Blandy, which has offices in Henley-on-Thames, Reading and Wokingham, has established itself as a leading firm in the area and is accredited by The Law Society’s Lexcel scheme and the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS).
In the year to June 30 2024, the company reported turnover of around £10.1 million, up slightly from £9.5 million a year earlier, and generated an operating profit of more than £2.5 million.
