Located on Prospect Street in Hull, popular cafe, Fed ‘n’ Watered is looking for a buyer.
The cafe was initially closed for the month of September with a Facebook post stating that it was a temporary closure for refurbishment purposes. It was anticipated that the the popular venue would open later this month but now the owner has closed its doors and stated it “won’t be opening” until a new buyer is found.
Fed 'n' Watered served fresh hot drinks as well as hot and cold food. The cafe was originally opened in 2015 by the landlord of the building, who then sold it to the current owners a year later.
The café, which served fresh hot drinks, as well as hot and cold food, had been expected to re-open this month after a post appeared on their Facebook page saying it would be closed for the month of September.
It appears the current owner has to leave the business due to personal reasons.
The landlord of the building said: "It's shut until he finds a buyer for it. He's appointed a company to sell the business for him.
"Until he finds a buyer, it won't be reopening."
Equipped with a play area for children encompassing chalk boards and building blocks, the cafe also has sufficient space between tables for prams and wheel chairs.
Before its closure, the cafe traded between 9am and 3pm, Monday to Saturday. Now it appears its shutters will only reopen when a new buyer is found.
