In order to achieve a quick sale, the asking price on a budget hotel in Doncaster has been cut.
Restover Lodge, which is located on Ten Pound Walk in Doncaster's Hyde Park area, is on the market through Leeds-based marketing agents Colliers International.
Originally, the asking price for the long leasehold interest of the 62-bedroom hotel was £550,000, but that has now been slashed to around £400,000.
The owners of the hotel, which is an independent family-owned budget premises, are keen to secure a quick sale in a slow market, according to representatives from Colliers.
Peter Bean, an agent with Colliers in Leeds, told the Thorne and District Gazette, “Run on a simple room-only basis with shared facilities, the hotel has diverse customer appeal.
“Its location on the edge of the town centre, immediately off the M18 link road, means it is easily accessible for those visiting the town, as well as for visitors to nearby industrial and retail operations and the racecourse and Championship football ground,” Mr Bean added.
The hotel also offers free car parking facilities and welcomes pets.
