A buyer is sought for a maker of modular buildings based near Hull after hard trading conditions saw it enter administration.
Servacomm, which was founded in 1997, is a modular construction company that manufacturers bespoke buildings that are designed to be customisable by the end user.
Operating from a six-acre factory site at Ottringham, near Hull, designs buildings using the Supalink and Multistack systems that can be adapted to any size or type of facility, including conventional offices, training centres, toilet or staff amenity areas, changing rooms and catering facilities.
The buildings that Servacomm provides are delivered to the site with all internal finishes and services already fitted, ready to be installed onto prepared foundations. They come fully fitted with lighting, heating, power and floor coverings, too.
Not only can the homes and buildings be delivered around the UK, but they are transported in steel anti-vandal units.
Any project built can then be dismantled and transported again easily, once it has come to the end of its life cycle.
It has completed a number of contracts in various industries, including for healthcare, education, retail, office, hotel and leisure, and utilities clients.
Two professionals from Leonard Curtis Business Rescue & Recovery have been appointed as joint administrators - Phil Deyes and Sean Williams - and will take control of the business going forward.
They say that they are currently trying to sell the business and its assets while working alongside stakeholders and creditors to make sure a positive result is achieved.
Recent accounts for Servaccomm filed with Companies House show that the firm achieved a turnover of £22.2 million for the year ending 31 March 2016, resulting in a pre-tax profit of £775,048.
