Lakeside Tower, a Grade II-listed venue with an excellent reputation in Nottinghamshire, has been put up on the market for sale.
Formerly a Victorian pumping station built in 1873, the property has most recently been used as a wedding venue and popular leisure destination.
Lakeside Tower is found on an estate spanning 5.88 acres, and stars stunning gardens and a beautiful lake. It underwent a multi-million-pound renovation scheme earlier this year, during which time its lavish wedding site, restaurant and leisure facilities experienced a makeover.
The building currently features a brassiere, gym and spa, and a deluxe wedding suite for both religious and civil ceremonies. The recently refurbished restaurant seats 80 people, and boasts a champagne and cocktail bar, and alfresco dining along the lakeside.
A Grade II-listed cottage on the grounds, boasting five bedrooms that have been newly renovated, is also for sale along with the main estate.
Real estate agency Christie & Co. are managing the sale of the property, which is located north of Arnold on the A60 highway road.
Senior business agent Gavin Webb said: “Lakeside is a landmark building in Nottingham, which enjoyed a strong local reputation until it closed in late 2017.
“The site previously had planning permission for the redevelopment of a separate 29-bedroom hotel elsewhere on the grounds and represents an excellent opportunity for the right buyer.”
The asking price is north of £1.25 million.
