Accountancy firms TC Group and BSG Valentine have merged in a deal that will see clients offered a broader range of services. The deal, creating the new business TC BSG Valentine, continues Sussex-based TC Group’s dealmaking activity, following its recent acquisition of Baker Chapman & Bussey (BCB).
The deal will enable London-based BSG Valentine to gain the support of TC Group’s network both in the UK and internationally. For TC Group, meanwhile, the merger significantly strengthens its operations in London.
In a statement, BSG Valentine partners said: “Having been an independent firm for over 35 years, any change needed to accommodate the ethos we have established of personalised and pro-active service and advice.”
"Our new relationship with the TC Group allows us the freedom to continue with our identity intact, but we will now have the resources and support to build upon our existing offering and to implement new technologies and services to support our clients' needs.

TC Group Chief Executive Richard Keyes described BSG Valentine as a firm with a “well-established reputation in London and beyond”.
