Two development sites with planning consent have been placed on the market after the owner entered administration in April.
CP Group Limited owns the two sites in Bailiff Bridge, West Yorkshire, and was placed into administration with Begbies Traynor after trading ceased due to money issues.
Edward Symmons has been hired to sell the pieces of land. One site is the former Clifton Mills on Bradford Road, and had recently been given permission for three shops and outline plans for a 56-bed care home. The other is close by and is behind the former St Aiden’s Church in Wyke Old Lane. It did have planning permission for 18 apartments with a car park, a clock tower and bin store, but this has now expired.
Edward Symmons are inviting written offers until noon, Friday 2 August.
CP Group had entered into an agreement to lease dated 4 April 2012, for one unit after its build for 20 years at £60,000 in rent per year.
A spokeswoman for Edward Symmons said the agent had handed out information to many interested parties. Information includes details of the planning permission and the space to be allocated to each of the three shops.
