Chelmsford-based warehouse management solutions provider Mintsoft Limited has been acquired by software firm The Access Group.
Founded in 2011, Mintsoft offers services including order management, shipping management and 3PL fulfilment accounting, using cloud technology to help its many clients despatch packages every year.
With the acquisition, Colchester-headquartered The Access Group hopes to extend its current offerings and to increase its market appeal.
Mintsoft managing director and founder Luke Groves commented: "With the growth of ecommerce, Mintsoft has worked hard to provide companies with efficient and affordable fulfilment solutions and I am very proud of what my team - and the company as a whole have achieved.
"Now established as a market leader, we are delighted to embark on this new chapter, and hope that Access’ acquisition will open up new opportunities for all involved."
Advisors Birketts helped on the transaction, with a team lead by Adam Jones and James Stocker with support from John Kahn and Clare Barlow.
Birketts’ Adam Jones said: "The UK has seen rapid growth of ecommerce take place across the business community, requiring excellent order management solutions, which Mintsoft have developed with great success.
"Birketts were particularly delighted to support Luke and Mark on this transaction, they have achieved so much in a short space of time and now, as part of the Access Group, both Mintsoft and Access will be able to expand so much more."
The sellers were advised by Paul Short and Richard Thomson of Lambert Chapman regarding the sale’s accounting and financial issues.
